Black Friday & Cyber Monday home office deals 2026
Black Friday is November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday is November 30. This page exists to be honest about the category before then: which brands have a documented history of November sales, which we could not verify, and what that means for whether to buy now or wait. When deals go live, they will be posted here — with the live price doing the talking, never a number we made up.

Prices as of Sep 13, 2026, from Amazon’s API. They change; we show a live number or none at all.
Nothing on this page is a deal today. Every price shown is Amazon’s live everyday price. This page was written in September so that it would be honest by November. Most Black Friday pages in this category are written the week of, with numbers that have to be true for four days. This one is built the other way round: what we can document about how these brands have behaved in past Novembers, what we could not verify and are therefore not going to claim, and what that means for whether to buy now or wait. When deals go live — Black Friday is November 27, 2026, Cyber Monday November 30 — they will be posted here, dated, with the live price on the button and no percentage in the text.
Two ground rules carry over from the rest of the site. We print no prices in prose; the button beside each product shows the live figure from Amazon’s data or nothing at all, and when Amazon reports a list price against it, the strike-through under the button shows Amazon’s own percentage. And we have not tested anything here. The picks below are our top picks from their roundups, ranked on published numbers that do not change with the season.
What historically discounts in this category
Premium task chairs, direct from the maker. This is the clearest pattern we found. Herman Miller ran 25% off all products in November 2024, and again from November 14 to December 2, 2025; its store was carrying a “Fall Sale: 25% off” banner when we read it in September 2026. Steelcase ran 25% off storewide through December 1, 2025, on regular-priced items only. Branch ran 20% off in November 2024 — notable because Popular Science described Branch as a brand whose chairs and desks “don’t go on sale very often.” The caveat that matters: these are the brands’ own stores. An Amazon listing for the same chair is a different price set by a different seller, and we found no evidence either way about whether it follows.
Standing desks, from some brands.Vari discounts both in and out of November: its own site was running 20% off electric standing desks from August 26 to September 30, 2026, and a 2025 headline reported a 35% Vari Black Friday sale. Branch’s 20% in November 2024 covered its Duo desk as well as its chairs. UPLIFT is the gap: it publishes no promotional calendar, and the only history we found is a coupon-tracking site’s log — which we cite as exactly that — recording its deepest offer in July 2025, not November.
BenQ lighting, modestly. BenQ documents its own November discounts, which is rare, and they are small: 20% off the ScreenBar Halo, 12% off the Genie lamp and 10% off the ScreenBar and ScreenBar Pro in 2024, November 21 to December 2, with the same discounts on Amazon. Its 2025 page lists the Halo 2 and Pro as deal products for November 20 to December 1 without a percentage.
What we could not verify, and are not going to claim
Monitor arms.We found no first-party sale page and no dated article with a figure for Ergotron. Amazon’s price moves at Amazon’s discretion; the strike-through under the button is the only history we can honestly show.
Ergonomic mice. The record cuts the other way. Logitech’s MX Vertical was reported 30% off at Amazon in March 2025 — under a headline saying it rarely goes on sale — and at roughly 37% below list in April 2026, described as below Black Friday pricing. Two dated observations are not a history, but they are enough to say November has no documented advantage for this product class.
Everything cheap. Cable ties, cable boxes, footrests, desk mats, standing mats, monitor risers. We found no verifiable seasonal pattern, and the structural point matters more than the search: at these prices a discount moves single dollars. Buy them when the desk needs them.
Dyson lighting and HON seating. Nothing citable either way. Both are picks below on the strength of what they publish, with no buy-or-wait claim attached.
Buy now or wait for November, by product class
Premium chair, bought direct:waiting has a documented history on Herman Miller, Steelcase and Branch’s own stores. If your chair has failed, a chair that fits today beats a percentage in ten weeks; if it has not, the pattern is real. Chair, bought on Amazon: no documented pattern; watch the strike-through. Standing desk:wait if it is a Vari or a Branch, on the record above; for UPLIFT we cannot say. Whether a desk fits is decided by its height range, not the sale — run the calculator first, whichever month you buy. BenQ light bar or lamp: a small documented discount is likely if the 2024 pattern holds; if you are buying in October anyway, the wait is short. Monitor arm, mouse, everything cheap: buy when you need it and when the live price is one you are happy with.
How to read a deal when they arrive
The strike-through under any button on this site is Amazon’s reported list price, so the percentage is Amazon’s claim, not ours. The useful check is the one nobody does: note what the button shows today. If the same product shows the same price in late November with a new strike-through beside it, the discount is against a number nobody was paying. We keep no price-history database and will not pretend to; that comparison is what we can honestly give you, and it is why this page is published in September.
When Amazon’s own event runs
In 2025, Amazon’s Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals started November 20 at 12:01 am Pacific and ran through December 1 — twelve days around the Friday itself. Amazon had not published 2026 dates when we last checked this page, and we will not guess at them; they will be added here when Amazon announces them. Every product on this site is bought through Amazon, so that window, when it is announced, is the one that matters for the buttons on this page.
The gift pages, if that is why you are here
If November is gift season rather than upgrade season, the same top picks are re-explained for a buyer who does not know the category: by budget on the stocking-stuffer, under-$50, under-$150 and splurge pages, and by recipient for laptop workers and people on calls all day. The main gift guide ties them together.
The picks, in detail

1. Buy when it fits
UPLIFT V3 (2-Leg)
Our top standing desk: the lowest published floor height on the page and a fifteen-year warranty. Buy-or-wait: UPLIFT publishes no sale calendar, and the only history we found is a coupon site's log with its deepest recorded discount in July, not November.
- Height (frame)
- 21.6–47.7"
- Capacity
- 355 lb
- Warranty
- 15 yr
The honest position on UPLIFT is that we could not find a first-party record of what it does in November. UPLIFT does not publish a promotional calendar; a third-party coupon tracker’s log — which is all we have, and which we cite as exactly that — records its deepest offer in July 2025 and a typical ceiling well below it the rest of the year. So the buy-or-wait answer is: if the frame fits (run the calculator) and you need it, buy it; if you are curious what November brings, this page will say what we observe, when we observe it.
Good
- Lowest bottom end here at 21.6" — the only desk listed that clears the seated range for shorter users
- 15-year warranty, extendable to 25 at purchase
- 355 lb capacity, the highest in this group by 80 lb
- UPLIFT publishes a real spec sheet, including 2"/sec travel and <48 dB
- Meets ANSI/BIFMA X5.5-2021 and the G1-2013 ergonomic height guideline
Not so good
- The most expensive desk here
- The 21.6–47.7" figure is the FRAME range; UPLIFT does not publish a with-desktop number, so your finished height sits above this
- The 2-leg frame spans about 41 to 72 inches wide, so a longer surface needs UPLIFT's pricier 3-leg or 4-leg frame
Don’t buy it if: you are waiting for a Black Friday number we have quoted, because we have not quoted one. If you need the desk now and the height range fits, the wait has no documented payoff we can point to.

2. Wait, if buying direct
HON Ignition 2.0 (mid-back mesh)
The task chair with a lifetime frame warranty in a real document and a published seat range. Buy-or-wait: the premium chair brands — Steelcase, Herman Miller, Branch — have run documented 20–25% sitewide sales every November we checked; HON's own pattern we could not verify.
- Seat height
- 17⅛–21½"
- Capacity
- 300 lb
- Warranty
- Lifetime
Chairs are the one class in this category with a documented seasonal pattern, and it is specific: the premium makers run sitewide sales on their own stores. Herman Miller ran 25% off in November 2024 and again from November 14 to December 2, 2025, and its store carried a “Fall Sale: 25% off” banner when we read it in September 2026. Steelcase ran 25% storewide through December 1, 2025, on regular-priced items. Branch, which Popular Science described as not going on sale very often, ran 20% off in November 2024. Two caveats: those are direct-store sales, not Amazon listings, and the Steelcase Series 1 that tops our chair roundup is not shown here only because we have no live listing for it. HON specifically, we could not verify either way.
Good
- Full lifetime warranty headline on seating, typically a little under the Steelcase
- HON publishes a real dimensions table — seat height per control type, not one marketing number
- 300 lb rating stated in the functionality guide, not just implied
Not so good
- The lifetime headline is tiered: 12 years on controls and pneumatic cylinders, 5 years on textiles
- Lumbar support is an option (code AL), not standard — check what you are ordering
- HON publishes no numeric lumbar travel or armrest dimensions anywhere
- No BIFMA claim of any kind
Don’t buy it if: your chair has already failed. The documented November sales are on the brands' own stores at regular price; an Amazon listing for the same chair does not necessarily follow them, and a chair that fits, today, is worth more than a percentage that may not apply to the listing you are looking at.

3. Buy when needed
Ergotron LX Desk Mount Monitor Arm
Our top monitor arm: the widest usable weight window and ten years of warranty. Buy-or-wait: we found no verifiable record of Ergotron running seasonal discounts, so we are not going to claim one.
- Weight range
- 7–25 lb
- VESA
- MIS-D 75/100, ≤34"
- Warranty
- 10 yr
We looked for a documented Ergotron sale history and did not find one we could cite — no first-party sale page, no dated article with a figure in it. Amazon’s price for the LX moves at Amazon’s discretion, and when Amazon reports a list price against the live one, the strike-through under the button on this page shows it. That is the entire price history we can honestly offer, so the advice is plain: check the monitor’s weight against the 7-to-25-pound window, and if it fits, buy it when you need it. The arm roundup has the alternatives if it does not.
Good
- 25 lb ceiling — the highest of any arm here, and enough for most 32" panels
- 10-year warranty, published on the product page rather than implied
- 13" of vertical travel
- Ergotron publishes both ends of the weight range, which most brands do not
- MIS-D covers both 75×75 and 100×100, the two patterns nearly every monitor uses
Not so good
- The 7 lb floor is the highest of the three counterbalanced single arms here — a light 24" panel may sit under it
- Ergotron's 10,000-cycle motion test is their own internal test, with no third-party standard cited
- No UL, ANSI or BIFMA claim of any kind — like every arm on this page
Don’t buy it if: your monitor weighs under about 7 pounds; that is the arm's floor and no discount changes it. Otherwise, nothing we found suggests November is a better month to buy this than any other.

4. Wait, if buying in October
BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2
Our top monitor light bar. Buy-or-wait: BenQ's own page documents its 2024 Black Friday lighting discounts — 20% on the Halo, 10% on the ScreenBar and Pro — and states Amazon carried the same. Modest, but real and dated.
- Color temp
- 2700–6500K
- CRI
- Ra≥95
- Rated life
- 50,000 hr
BenQ is the most transparent brand in this category about what it does in November, and the numbers are modest. Its own Black Friday 2024 lighting page lists 20% off the ScreenBar Halo, 12% off the Genie lamp and 10% off the ScreenBar and ScreenBar Pro, running November 21 to December 2, with the same discounts on Amazon. Its 2025 page lists the Halo 2 and the Pro among the deal products for November 20 to December 1 but does not print a percentage. Read that as: a documented, small discount is likely if the pattern holds, and we will note what actually appears when it does. The light bar roundup explains why the Pro is the right BenQ for most desks.
Good
- Wireless controller rather than a touch panel on the bar itself
- Rear backlight, which is the actual reason to pick this over the Pro
- Presence detection plus auto-brightness
- Publishes Rf≥96 alongside Ra≥95 — a modern TM-30 fidelity figure, not just the 1974 one
Not so good
- Draws max 15W against the Pro's 8.5W for the same published >1000 lux at 50cm
- The 50,000 hr figure comes from a blanket BenQ FAQ that does not name the Halo 2, not from its spec page
- 1-year US warranty, on the most expensive bar here
Don’t buy it if: you are waiting for a large number. BenQ's documented lighting discounts were in the 10–20% range, and its 2025 page lists the Halo 2 and Pro without stating a figure. If you work evenings in a dark room now, the wait is a few weeks for a small difference.

5. Buy on the spec sheet
Dyson Solarcycle Morph Desk Light (CD06)
Our top desk lamp, ranked first for publishing the awkward numbers rather than the flattering ones. Buy-or-wait: we found no documented Dyson lighting sale history to cite, and we will not invent one.
- Color temp
- 2700–6500K
- CRI
- CRI 90+ (R9 48)
- Rated life
- 181,000 hr L70
We searched for a Dyson lighting sale history and found nothing we could cite with a date and a figure, so this pick carries no buy-or-wait advice beyond the obvious: if its published color rendering and rated life are why you want it, those do not change in November. When Amazon reports a list price against the live one, the strike-through under the button shows it. Our lamp roundup is where the reasoning for ranking it first lives.
Good
- The only lamp here that publishes R9 (48 min) — the deep-red sample that Ra excludes and that most affects skin tones
- The only lighting product on this site that names a standard for its longevity number: L70 per IEC 62717
- States its assumption out loud — 181,000 hr is 8 hours a day, and the arithmetic checks
- Widest color temperature range here at 2700–6500K, plus a 1800–3400K docked mode
- Publishes flicker (<1%), beam angle (78°), luminous efficacy (70 lm/W) and rated power (11.2W) — figures most lamp brands never print
Not so good
- Roughly twice the Genie's price
- Its headline CRI (90 or above) is lower than BenQ's Ra>=95
- L70 describes lumen maintenance, not the moment the lamp dies — the driver and electronics are not covered by the figure
- We have not verified IEC 62717's extrapolation limits, so we can tell you the standard is named but not that the projection is conservative
Don’t buy it if: the price is what decides it — that was true on the lamp roundup and it is true here. The BenQ lamps have a documented November pattern; this one does not, as far as we could verify.
Price as of Sep 13, 2026. #ad — we earn a commission.
Where these numbers came from

6. Buy on a strike-through
Logitech MX Vertical
Our top ergonomic mouse. Buy-or-wait: the documented discounts on this mouse at Amazon were in March 2025 and April 2026 — the second described as below Black Friday pricing — so November is not obviously the month to wait for.
- Grip angle
- 57°
- DPI
- 400–4000
- Battery / warranty
- 4 mo charge / 1 yr
The MX Vertical is a useful corrective to the idea that November is when things get cheap. PCWorld reported it 30% off at Amazon in March 2025, under a headline saying it rarely goes on sale; Kotaku reported it at roughly 37% below list at Amazon in April 2026 and called that below Black Friday pricing. Two dated observations are not a price history, and we are not going to pretend they are, but they are enough to say that waiting for late November has no documented advantage for this mouse. Amazon’s reported list price and percentage-off appear under the button on this page whenever Amazon reports them. The mouse roundup has the Lift for smaller hands.
Good
- 57° vertical angle is published on Logitech's own datasheet — a real geometric spec you can check against your own hand
- 10 million click service life, double the Lift's 5 million and the highest here
- Logitech publishes an MTTF figure (>150K hours) — almost nobody in this category publishes reliability at all
- 400–4000 DPI adjustable, with nominal values (1000 and 1600) stated separately
- Rechargeable via USB-C, ~4 months per charge
Not so good
- The headline '10% less muscular strain' claim has no named study, method or sample size behind it — Logitech's own footnote says only 'As compared with a traditional non-vertical mouse'
- The datasheet's flat '10%' and the press release's 'up to 10 percent' are different claims, and 'muscular strain' vs 'muscular activity' are different constructs
- US warranty is 1 year; the same datasheet gives EMEA and Japan 2 years for the identical mouse
- Large — at 120mm long it does not suit smaller hands, which is what the Lift exists for
- Right-handed only; no left-handed version
Don’t buy it if: you are holding out for Black Friday specifically. The two dated discounts we found were in spring, and one article called the mouse something that rarely goes on sale in the same breath as reporting a 30% cut. Watch the button, not the calendar.

Common questions
When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday, November 27, 2026 — the day after Thanksgiving, which falls on November 26. Cyber Monday is the following Monday, November 30. Amazon’s own event ran longer than the day in 2025: its Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals started November 20 at 12:01 am Pacific and ran through December 1. Amazon had not published 2026 event dates when we last checked; we will add them here when it does.
Do office chairs go on sale for Black Friday?
The premium brands do, on their own stores, and it is documented. Herman Miller ran 25% off in November 2024 and from November 14 to December 2, 2025. Steelcase ran 25% storewide through December 1, 2025, on regular-priced items. Branch ran 20% off in November 2024. Two things to know: those are direct-store sales rather than Amazon listings, and none of them is a promise about 2026. Our chair spending guide explains what the money buys at each tier regardless of season.
Do standing desks go on sale for Black Friday?
Some brands document it and some do not. Vari’s own site was running 20% off electric standing desks from August 26 to September 30, 2026 when we checked, and a 2025 Tom’s Guide headline reported a 35% Vari Black Friday sale — so Vari discounts both in and out of November. Branch ran 20% off in November 2024. UPLIFT publishes no sale calendar, and the only record we found is a coupon site’s log with its deepest offer in July. Our standing desk roundup ranks them on published height range and warranty, which do not change with the season.
Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a monitor arm or a desk lamp?
We could not find a documented Black Friday history for Ergotron or for Dyson lighting, so we will not tell you to wait for one. BenQ is the exception: its own site documents 10 to 20% off its light bars and lamps in November 2024, with Amazon matching. For everything else, the honest advice is to buy when the product fits and the button on our page shows a live price you are happy with.
Where will the actual deals be posted?
Here, on this page, when they go live in November — each with the date we observed it and the live price on the button. We will not write a percentage into the text, because prices move and text does not. If you are reading this before then, nothing on this page is a deal yet: every price shown is Amazon’s live everyday price, refreshed daily and removed if it goes stale.
How do I know a Black Friday price is actually a discount?
Two checks. First, the strike-through under the button on our pages is Amazon’s own reported list price, so a percentage there is Amazon’s claim, not ours. Second, note the price the button shows today; if it is the same in late November with a new strike-through beside it, the discount is against a number nobody was paying. We have no price-history database of our own and we do not pretend to; those two checks are what we can honestly offer.
